Medical Cannabis Frequently Asked Question

For the continued health and safety of both our patients and staff, Remedy has implemented routine cleaning and sanitation protocols for the facility which are closely observed and documented at regular intervals throughout the day. All personnel are required to practice social distancing, wear masks at all times, and to wear gloves when handling medicine. Remedy has voluntarily chosen to operate on a curbside-pickup model to keep the facility at minimum occupancy, and will continue to do so until statewide positivity rates decline significantly.

You can order your medicine either online or by phone.

Online orders: Go to our Home Page at https://remedymaryland.com/ & click “Order Online” to access our online menu.

Whichever ordering method you choose, please have your Maryland Medical Cannabis Commission (MMCC) Patient ID Number & Valid ID ready for placing your order and picking up your medicine from our Curbside Concierges.

By law, only you or your designated MMCC-registered Caregiver can pick up your curbside order.

A Caregiver is a person who, once registered with the Maryland Medical Cannabis Commission and in possession of a valid MMCC Caregiver ID card, is able to purchase medical cannabis from a licensed Maryland dispensary on behalf of his or her designated patient(s) and transport legally-obtained medical cannabis from the licensed dispensary to the patient(s). Once registered, a caregiver may serve a maximum of five registered patients at one time.

Caregiver registration can be completed on the MMCC website, at https://mmcc.maryland.gov/Pages/caregivers.aspx. Please follow the instructions on the MMCC site. The online application form must be completed and submitted in one session; you will not be able to save and complete the application at a later time. For more information, please contact Remedy at 443-542-0948 and we will gladly assist you.

Your first step is to go to the Maryland Medical Cannabis Commission’s website, at https://mmcc.maryland.gov/ and create a patient account. You will need to answer questions, provide proof of residency and recent photo to submit an online application for MMCC review.

You should receive a follow-up email within about 12 business days advising whether or not your application has been approved.

Upon approval, you are ready to visit a provider registered with the MMCC to obtain a valid recommendation to receive medical cannabis. There are no prescriptions for medical cannabis, but a printout of your recommendation with valid and current Patient ID number will allow you to purchase your medicine from any licensed Maryland dispensary. You will need to provide your Patient ID whenever visiting a licensed dispensary to purchase medical cannabis.

For a more detailed explanation or help with any of the steps required, please contact Remedy and request an online consultation with a Patient Advisor, or go to https://remedymd.wpengine.com/maryland-medical-cannabis-patient/
